MSU Spartans joined Cristo Rey Community Center for a day of volunteering and they were wonderful!

We divided up into two “crews”, one to help clean and organize the Community Kitchen and the other to move/organize the Community Closet (all clothes, racks and miscellaneous items) from its location on the 2nd floor to its new home on the 1st floor!  Both crews helped immensely with CRCC’s mission to increase access to basic need services and we couldn’t have done it without them.

Did you know?

CRCC’s Community Kitchen was projected to serve over 22,000 meals this year and we have already surpassed that estimate.  CRCC’s Community Closet helps share over 700 clothing items per week(!) back into the community!  These essential services would not be possible without the giving spirit and volunteerism of those willing to get involved.

Thank you MSU Spartans!!
